There are many benefits of continuing exercise during pregnancy and this has been backed by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).
One thing to remember though is that you should have reasonable goals and expectations, pregnancy is not a time to try and reach peak fitness levels, it’s a time to maintain good fitness levels!
